Dia Frampton was a contestant on Season 1 of The Voice. At the time of auditioning, Dia was 23 years old and was from St. George, Utah. Dia was the runner-up of Season 1.
The Voice
Blind Auditions
In the Blind Auditions, Dia was the 31st artist to audition and sang "Bubbly" by Colbie Caillat. Both Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green turned their chairs around but Dia chose to join Team Blake.
Battle Rounds
In the Battle Rounds, Dia was paired with Serabee and they were given the song "You Can't Hurry Love" by The Supremes. Blake chose Dia as the winner of the battle and Serabee was eliminated from the competition.
Quarterfinals
In the 1st week of the Quarterfinals, Dia performed 4th and sang "Heartless" by Kanye West. She also performed with the rest of Team Blake and their coach to "This Love" by Maroon 5. Dia was saved by the public and moved to the next stage of the competition with fellow team member Xenia.
Semi-finals
In the Semi-finals, Dia performed 3rd and sang "Losing my Religion" by R.E.M. She also performed with the other 7 contestants to a "Faith/Freedom '90" medley. Dia and fellow team member Xenia also performed with their coach to his song "Honey Bee". Dia advanced to the Finals and Xenia was eliminated from the competition.
Finals
In the Finals, each contestant had to perform an original song and a duet with their coach. Dia's first performance was her original song called "Inventing Shadows". She then dueted with Blake Shelton to "I Won't Back Down" by Tom Petty. During the Finals results show Dia sang with Miranda Lambert to "The House That Built Me" and was later announced the runner-up of the competition.
